The COLOMED project aims at coordinating institutions, clinical and research centers operating in the field of colorectal cancer in the Mediterranean area.

COLOMED is composed of a task force based in Rome at the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità), of an international technical scientific board and of a network of researchers and clinical centers in the Mediterranean area.

The COLOMED network brings together the leading experts in the field of research, medicine and health policies for the implementation of activities aimed at fostering the development of knowledge and treatments for colorectal cancer.

The COLOMED platform’s objective is developing medical-scientific cooperation, information and technology sharing, staff exchanges, medical update on colorectal cancer for doctors and scientists in the Mediterranean area.
