Cell Stem Cell - A team of Dutch scientists discovered that disabling intestinal stem cells proliferation triggers their differentiation into hormone-producing enteroendocrine cells. This discovery allows researchers to better understand the operating mechanisms of intestinal stem cells and how they are disrupted by the development of cancer.
