Italy 2017: 1,000 new cancer cases every day

La Repubblica.it - Medicina  - A report published by the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (Aiom) in collaboration with the Italian Association of Cancer Registries (Airtum) and the Aiom Foundation shows that in Italy in 2017, more than 1,000 people have been diagnosed with cancer every day.

In 2017, colorectal cancer has been the most frequent type of cancer  with 53,000 new cases, followed by breast (51,000), lung (41,800), prostate (34,800) and bladder cancer (27,000).
